Florida recap day 4

*Discovery Cove (as it turns out) does not decorate for Christmas, or at least not on the same schedule as the other Disney properties.

*It would have been awesome to swap the Sunday and Monday weather, but even with cooler temps it was a very fun day to be in and out of the water.

*Free snacks! I love this!

*I joke a lot about not liking to be separated from my things (backpack, work bag, whatever I might have with me). Ha ha, not really a joke, which led me to accidentally carry my lip balm into the water with me one time. (I forgot! In my defense, we were planning to go to lunch, and got sidetracked. Also, the lip balm was fine.)

*I was going to say ‘swimming is fun!’ But I didn’t really do much swimming? Floating is fun! And wading! And walking along the bottom of the reef area with a 70 pound air helmet!

*I had a fantastic time. <3

A few reminders, in case we do this again someday:

1. Oh my gosh, I’m basically a parrot. Next time if I get cranky at the end of the day, just toss a towel over my head and tell me to chill out.

2. The to-go ordering option at TGIF takes an hour, not twenty minutes. I should have brought more snacks to eat and share while waiting. Possibly a lawn chair.

3. Arrive before the official open time for a line-free check-in process!
