year in review: writing

It was a Power Rangers kind of year!  Writing (possibly especially writing about teenagers) takes a certain kind of mental energy that I am not always able to generate or sustain — as evidenced by the fact that one of these isn’t a fic at all, and the other took something like eight months of off-and-on banging away at the keyboard to come up with a story I now only vaguely remember.  

Having said that, I re-read both of these before writing this post, and it was an overall pleasant experience.

1. a fic I’m not writing
(snippets from after the Power Rangers (2017) movie)

2. Run the Mountain
(a Rise / Power Rangers fusion, because high school might(?) have been better with superpowers)
