marcicat | two month update

Here we are, two months after Christmas, but as we know, holiday decorating is a marathon, not a sprint. (I only took the Christmas lights down from the balcony on Saturday.)

Indoors, the final three contenders for ‘last holiday door decoration standing’ are still going strong.

1. The red berry wreath. This one really has an advantage in February, since you can sort of mentally assign it a Valentines energy.

2. The ‘Tis the Season sign. White dots with a green background, this one is awkward in February, but will shine in March. Tis the season of St. Patrick’s Day!

3. The Christmas bear wreath. It’s a challenge to associate this one with anything except Christmas, but it does make me smile every time I walk by, which seems like a win.
