All month I've been wondering if inspiration would strike for the Brush & Lantern's July challenge (Arrangements, Betrothals, Matchmakers). And it didn't, until Tuesday, and then suddenly I had a lil' fic written almost entirely for the purpose of having Zhao Yunlan and Shen Wei hold hands. AU, because I wanted a stress-free hand-holding without having to figure out the time travel or the family dramas.
