marcicatI have now watched all of the Good Omens miniseries! I enjoyed it! Not as much as I've enjoyed some of the fic inspired by it, but there was definitely enjoyment.
Two questions:
1. "There's not 39 flavors of ice cream in the whole world."
What? Based on the technology we see, the series appears to be set in the modernish day (aka there is internet). I'm baffled that 11-year-olds wouldn't think there are 39 flavors of ice cream *somewhere* even if they didn't have them in Tadfield. Is Pepper joking? Is this post-Gen-Z humor and I'm too old to get it?
2. "Get him out of here; this'll cause a riot."
I specifically went back and watched parts of episode 6 just to get this line. It's a great scene; I loved it (PS: especially hilarious that Crowley tries to bluff Hastur and fails, while Aziraphale succeeds). I can imagine many potential implications of this line, but I'm curious if there's a fan consensus on what she means.
