it's time

Time to finally face the moment I was sure I'd be ready for by now when this month began. (Okay, even then I knew I wouldn't be ready. I just -- hope springs eternal?)

One of my final notecards describes the entire climactic finale to this hastily cobbled-together plot and slapdash emotional arcs as:

'resolution - IDK'

I still don't know.  But -- based on a non-scientific review of everything else I've ever written -- it's probably a misunderstanding.  It could possibly even be one that's resolved while the POV character is distracted by something else, thus negating any need to explain what actually happens.

Mostly I just want to get through it, so that I can move on to this other, even more important, note:

'lots of hugging - yay!'
