marcicat | Hawaii 5-0: bingo!

I’ve lost track of the Hawaii Five-0 bingo card that was circulating a while back, but I feel like tonight’s episode must have been a winner. It had Rachel, it had Grace, it had shirtlessness, it had product placement galore, it had Steve body slamming a suspect off a bicycle. It didn’t have anyone saying “Book ‘em, Danno,” but they did get a ‘Danno’ shoutout in elsewhere.

(If this one seems weird, out of context, it was also weird *in* context, with the I-don’t-even-know-what-to-call-that look from Danny.)

“And yet 150 people die each year from coconuts falling on their heads. It’s a fact; I read it online.”

“So now you’re not going to let Grace go near coconut trees?”
“Not without a helmet, I’m not.”

“Why don’t you try turning it sideways?”
“What would that do?”
“It makes the things bigger. I’m just trying to help.”

(Yeah Danny, he’s just trying to help! Alternately, one of Steve’s strategies seems to be ‘losing’ his phone and needing to requisition a new, better phone.)

“Why are you so angry?”
“Because I’m an angry person, okay?”

(As far as I’m concerned, an episode that was just the team driving around the island for an hour, talking with each other, would be wall to wall awesome. I’d watch that.)
