to the polls
Feb. 11th, 2020 05:45 amIt's voting day in NH, and once again my workplace has decided not to give anyone extra time off to fulfill their civic duty. (Though they've promised that they're 'planning' to give an hour of paid time on national Election Day in November; I'll believe it when I see it.)
But I'm going to get that sticker anyway, because I love stickers! (And fulfilling my civic duty? Sure, that too.)
In other news, when I foolishly decided I would wear pink every day this week for Valentines Day (the pink family, anyway -- mostly it's more like mulberry), I ignored the fact that I only have four pink-ish top layers that are in the usual work rotation. So now I need to decide if I'm going to pretend my pink-ish fleece doesn't have cat hair on it, or switch to purple one day. Or, I guess, just wear the same thing twice, which is definitely something I would do.
