So I couldn't help but notice that both 'The Untamed' and 'The King's Avatar' have a scene where it inexplicably snows, despite it not seeming to be winter. (There are leaves on the trees? And it's not like I've NEVER seen it snow out of season, but usually everyone would talk about it, and no one in the shows seems to think it's weird at all.)

When it happened in The Untamed, I just figured 1) it's a magical place; and 2) it's the mountains, and mountains have weird weather. Also, I mean, they use their swords like hoverboards to fly around (does this ever happen in the live action? I may have skipped... um, some episodes...) so meteorological inaccuracies are hardly the line I want to draw in the sand, you know?

But then it happened in The King's Avatar too! And it was clearly A Moment, but I felt like I was missing some sort of symbolism for what the snow was supposed to mean. Like, in US media, I'm pretty sure when it suddenly starts snowing it's usually to represent the magic of Christmas, which doesn't seem to fit the context in these situations.

(Hilariously, thinking about this did make me walk outside yesterday while it was snowing, just to see what all the fuss was about. It was not A Moment. I got snow in my eyes!)

The sword/hoverboard scenes are mostly in the past, so if you skipped most of those you probably missed them.
