marcicatWork continues to be what it is, although yesterday someone mentioned job security to me in a non-ironic way and I boggled. I wanted to be like, 'Young person, what are you saying?! You, a recent college graduate at your first job, are so optimistic? How is this possible?'
I really thought most millennials were in the 'my retirement plan is basically the apocalypse' group (*the internet tells me I can thank twitter circa 2017 for that sentiment). Finding a hopeful outlier was neat -- I'm not entirely sure their optimism will last, but I kudos them for having it. (Even though it made me feel old and jaded, lol.)
