must be time for a VIRTUAL 5K

marcicatIt's a beautiful day here -- sun is shining, birds are singing, and -- if the forecast is to be believed -- it's going to be the warmest day of the next (::counts how many days the forecast shows; this is embarrassing that I don't know::) ten days!
But even last weekend it was clear that the forest trails were Too Crowded For Social Distancing (it's amazing to me how quickly the phrase 'social distancing' became part of our daily conversation). And now the state's told everyone to stay home (understandable!), and it's not like I NEED to get out of my apartment.
And so! I'll be doing the MILLENNIUM RUNNING VIRTUAL 5K today. I've got my green t-shirt (this week's theme is stated as 'Irish,' but I'm pretty sure they meant 'St. Patrick's Day'), my 'pump up the jams' playlist, and my post-race banana. SO READY!
