(I first heard this from a coworker at a Tuesday morning meeting, and though that coworker has likely forgotten the exchange, the words rang so true for me that I have been repeating it ever since. I think because there's a sort of an understanding that Mondays are challenging, given their overall Monday-ness, but then I think Tuesdays should magically be much better than Mondays just because they are Not Mondays. And yet. Anyway. Tuesdays are hard, Wednesdays are better!)
