I figured I'd better post this quick, because it's not that interesting a story, and leaving it any longer would definitely create a false expectation. ANYWAY! Back in mid-April, I posted about ordering some postage stamps, which you can do online! And then I waited.

I waited what felt like a long time. How long could it possibly take them to mail some postage stamps? Were they printing them just for me? Were they traveling to the rainforest to take pictures of the frogs, so that I'd have a unique set for my stamps? (If so, they probably should have charged more than $11, I'm just saying.)

And finally I thought I should probably go check to see if I could find any updates on my order -- like maybe the stamps I wanted had all been discontinued, or something. (I had considered checking earlier, but it's just -- you have to remember if you created an account, and with what email address, and what password, or you have to reset your password, and I always feel bad because I *meant* to write it down somewhere, but I clearly didn't, or maybe I did and forgot, and now that I've changed the password I should find the original slip of paper and throw it away, and maybe the stamps would just show up and I wouldn't have to!)

But as with many things, it wasn't as hard once I got started as it had been in my brain, and I got logged in, only to see my stamps were STILL IN THE CART! Apparently, I never actually clicked the order button! Haha very embarrassing, very much something I would do. On the plus side, wow, the postal service really saves your cart for a long time!

So I purchased stamps FOR REAL, and I got them in less than a week! Yay!
