to NaNo or not to NaNo

On the ‘What a great idea!’ side:

1. It’s tradition. It would be my 7th nano novel, which seems neat.
2. It’s NaNoWriMo’s 13th year, which is cool.
3. It’s Chris Baty’s last year running the program, which makes participation seem kind of symbolically supportive of what he’s created.

On the ‘What, are you crazy?’ side:

1. It sounds hard.
2. I have no idea what to write about.

To help with this decision, I’ve decide to re-read my previous nanos. I’m just having a little trouble getting motivated to actually do it.
