nanowrimo, day 3

Day 3 is the screaming day, right?

More importantly, while I definitely appreciate the nanowrimo website, I have to ask, WHERE IS MY GRAPH?

Other key questions:

*Why does the site not show my buddies? (Okay, my one buddy.) It keeps telling me to find them, and then I do, and it's like 'you're buddies already!' And I'm like, I know! Why won't you show this fact on the other page???

*I'm so confused -- there's a page that shows novel-related badges, and then another page somewhere else (I keep losing it!) that shows those badges AND other badges, and I have no idea why there are so many pages that have *almost* the same information on them, but not quite.

ETA WAIT WAIT I FOUND MY GRAPH!

*It's under 'My NaNoWriMo' and then 'Stats,' which I suppose I should have been able to figure out from the start? It seems obvious now that I say it.

I HAD THE SAME QUESTION re: the graph (aka the Most Important part of the NaNo experience?!) and honestly I'm still confused about why I can't access it from the page that's about my novel! Why do I enter words on one page and view my graph from a different one?

But okay, just glad it still exists. :) Remember back in the early days when we all passed around that pretty excel spreadsheet someone set up to show the invaluable comparison of day's words versus projected finish time? It's not NaNo without a graph!!

Oh my gosh yes, I was just thinking about that spreadsheet this morning! The graph is a KEY ELEMENT to the process!
