nanowrimo day 7

*I have now inched over the 10,000 word mark, which feels like a victory. Now I just need to do that ::checks official rules:: four more times! ::nervous laughter::

*My notes for each section get less coherent (and less numerous) as they progress, but this one at least included something that made me laugh: 'it's a comb that's a knife - these kids would love switchblades'

(*I stand by that note! #TRUTH)

*I've been using chapter titles to indulge in my enjoyment of writing down whatever random string of words pops into my head. (I never actually read chapter titles, so this seems fine to me. Do other people read chapter titles and expect them to make sense?)

(*Sort of like my novel notes, the bullet points have gotten less coherent as they've progressed. But I needed five, for five sets of ten thousand!)

((Also also, really? Like, for some people, that's the point at which they got upset and decided to comment about it? I'm shook. And boggled. And boggleshook. (A little-known corollary of the first two.) There is a really super mega easy solution when a fic isn't to your taste, and it's definitely closing the fic, and it's definitely NOT sending the author a comment. WHO DOES THAT???????))

(((Also also ALSO, the ONLY ACCEPTABLE alternative to the super mega easy solution of just closing the fic and not reading any more, is to do what I DID THIS WEEK, which is to SPITE WRITE a different fic and NEVER TELL ANYONE WHY. As the internet memes, say, IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!)))

Okay I haven't napped or anything but I've stopped crying and am eating some food and am SPITE WRITING the next chapter in my head right now and it's AWESOME they're going to talk about gender and mental illness and EVERYTHING :D :D :D Those people who don't like being "surprised" by vague implications of perfectly normal things, I will give them something to be surprised about!!! :D HA HA HA

(I have decided to IGNORE everything I don't like! I have turned off AO3 notifications! I have only replied to people I like! I have scattered hearts liberally and started writing a chapter about Wei Ying and Lan Zhan discussing whether or not Wei Ying wishes he was a woman, a conversation I always thought it would be nice for them to have but NOW THEY WILL HAVE IT POINTEDLY AND IN GREAT DETAIL :D Also I will get out EXTRA STICKERS for our posters! Oh AND! I got you some cute cat webcam covers if you want them, they're adorable, don't let me forget! XOXO)
