nanowrimo day 9

marcicat*Just checked the calendar to see what day it is; only minority embarrassed to notice that the date is right on the screen in front of me. Clearly it's a Monday.
*Why is November so hard? I mean, I guess the good thing about adding nanowrimo to November's overwhelming everything-ness is that by the time we finally get to December, it somehow seems slightly more manageable.
*I keep getting tons of email ads about Black Friday deals that have already started (some have already finished?!) and dire warnings about ordering early so things arrive on time, and all I can say is DON'T RUSH ME, I'M NOT READY. I'm very contrary when I'm tired, and I'm always tired in November.
