After some consideration, he divided the page into three sections: Most Likely, Possible, and People Who Would Make Him Question Lan Zhan’s Taste If It Were Them. Jiang Yanli went under the first category; Jiang Cheng went under the last.
He passed an hour sorting their former classmates, or at least the former classmates whose names he remembered, occasionally scratching out his work and moving a name from one column to another. Lan Zhan ignored him at first, but eventually he set aside his poetry and asked Wei Ying what he was working on.
Wei Ying brandished the list triumphantly. “Since you won’t tell me anything, I am using the scientific method to determine who the idiot you’re in love with is. See for yourself.” He thrust the notepad at Lan Zhan, who took it with a decidedly skeptical expression.
“Mn,” he said after a moment. “Not bad.” He passed it back. “You are missing a few names, however.”
