*I found the string! It is at least half as useful as I hoped it would be. ::confetti::

*However, I've lost track of my skillet pan cover. (I'm sure* it's packed with the large pot that it is also the cover for! I just have no idea where that is!) Good news: when the directions on the Annie's One Pot Pasta meal say 'simmer while covered for ten minutes,' you can just do it without a cover, it's fine. (*mostly sure?)

*I also found four more smallish boxes! ("Found," lol. I'd flattened them out, duct taped them together, and wrapped them in a fleece blanket. It was against the wall under the bedroom window -- I give it a rating of Extremely Effective! Also very pretty! Customizable!)

*I've reached a point in packing where four smallish boxes don't seem as helpful as a magical solution for transporting very heavy furniture, but I'm sure they'll be great! I have plenty of smallish things left to pack.

*Here's a question: When I moved in, the then-landlord provided a tension rod for the shower curtain. It's very nice! When I move out, the new management is going to gut the apartment and renovate it. Am I allowed to take the tension rod? (Haha you would think that the lease would provide a list of things that came with the apartment that are required to stay; that would be completely logical, but I don't think it does. Although now that I'm writing this, I am less certain... I will check!)

Yay string! *\o/*

The compelling part of the tension rod dilemma to me is the gutting/renovation. I vote take it!
