thoughts upon rewatching “Fast Five”

1. My coworker has no right to mock Fast Five as a movie choice. What was she watching this evening? Pirates of the Caribbean 4. No lie.

2. All I can think is that the writers got together, watched the first four movies, and were like, “Oh. So *that’s* what everyone was talking about.” And then they decided that they were going to emphasize the *family* aspect, not the hot-sexy-lovin’ aspect. Unfortunately, they decided to learn about on-screen portrayals of family feelings by watching Supernatural.

3. If Paul Walker, Joe Flanigan, and Keanu Reeves ever starred in a movie together, it’s possible it would forever be remembered as the most emotionless acting in the history of ever.

[ETA: 4. That does not stop me from wanting to write a crossover (ha! of course!) with the Avengers. Tony drives *just like them*!]
