marcicatStumbled into one of those workplace gothic situations yesterday trying to figure out wtf is going on with a particular item.
*The system says you have 20 kilograms.
*The system says you've used 10 kilograms in the last five years.
*The system says you haven't used anything since 2017.
*The system says your estimated demand for the next 18 months is 9000 kilograms.
*The system says there's no record of every purchasing the material, because a quantity was transferred in when the system was changed in 2015, and no one has access to the old system anymore.
*The company on record as the supplier has no records of selling it to you.
*When you ask about the purpose of this material, the answer is: "They told me they need it, just in case."
