IF you can believe it (I cannot believe it), I will be going onsite for work today for the first time since March of 2020. Personally, I'd prefer not to, but I acknowledge there's an Adventure Element to the whole experience.
(My latest boss lives out of state and is currently onsite for the first time since being hired, so the rest of us have been told to show up to meet them in person. I said 'but we already know them,' and one of my coworkers said 'we only know them from the neck up' (aka 'what we see on a video call). But it doesn't matter what they look like?!?!? Because that's not part of the job!?!?!?)
In conclusion: I understand that this seems to matter to some people, but I do not actually understand why.
The MOST important question is of course: can we get free coffee at work???
