One of my coworkers gave their two-weeks notice at the end of the year, which wasn't entirely unexpected, but will certainly be a huge loss to the department. The weirdest part is that with their departure, I'll be the one who's been there the longest. (HOW???)

Wishing them the best, etc, etc.

Current work goal: look competent and supportive, but not TOO competent and supportive. (aka: I definitely want to keep my job, but I definitely don't want to take on my coworker's job too.)
