sunshine!

Yesterday was very gray, very January, but today is bright sunshine, and that's January too! Blue skies and white snow and bundling up in layers just to pop outside to refill the bird feeders. Winter! Yes!

(Also the river is not *really* frozen, but it's frozen *enough* that we ventured out a few yards by the boat launch yesterday just to slide around on it for a few minutes. YAY!!! Winter: achieved.)
