1. I am so glad it’s a hot day, because that was the perfect excuse for eating my soup cold (it’s leftover soup). Honestly, it probably would have tasted better hot. (But this way I have fewer dishes to wash!)
2. So far today I have: rearranged some furniture, considered (and then reconsidered) hanging up a mirror using a mish-mash of leftover command hooks, and vacuumed some stuff. I wanted to have a ‘stay in and don’t drive anywhere’ day, which has been super achievable.
3. I usually wash all my sheets and stuff when the month changes. But my apartment washer is WAY too small for such an endeavor. Instead of resolving this by taking stuff home to wash, or visiting a laundromat, I am using the “air it out” method. (I pulled everything off the bed and draped it over stuff.) The cat was under the comforter, but he stalked off when I started moving stuff. This is where I found him when I went looking:
Back under the comforter! (“I do what I want!”)
