birds!

Any day is better with birds, and yesterday I saw a new one at the feeder! I feel somewhat confident in saying it was a finch. (Not a goldfinch, although those have been around too!)

It was probably either a purple finch or a house finch — it didn’t exactly do a 360-degree modeling spin for me and then spell out the name in bird seed, which is probably what it would take for me to correctly ID a bird on the first try.

Still, very pretty, and fun to see a new bird!
