Things I Like About Post-Christmas Winter:

1. Sometimes snow is pretty.

2. My birthday is in a winter month!

3. Typically very few biting insects around.

4. Stylish winter hats.

5. Winter coats have a lot of pockets.

6. The only season when having a shovel in my car isn’t weird.

7. How quiet it is when you walk outside and it’s snowing.

8. Hot tea.

(Eight things is pretty good, right? I mean, it’s not nine or ten, but it’s more than five!)
