1. At least 50% of the people on the road in my general vicinity today must have woken up this morning and thought to themselves, ‘self, I’m going to do something stupid while I’m driving today.’ And then somehow when they saw my car they were struck by an irresistible urge to get that line item crossed off their to-do list RIGHT THEN.

2. I actually SAID GOOD MORNING to our robot trash can today. (I moved, it moved in response, my verbal acknowledgement came out on autopilot.) This is why I say yes when people ask if I’m looking forward to the time when all of my coworkers cubicles are in the same room. I feel like I like working alone, but it obviously leads to me TALKING TO THE TRASH CAN, so maybe more company would be good.

3. Thing I struggled with the most today: figuring out when my coworkers wanted me to *answer* their questions, and when they were just shouting them out for funsies.
